The Chaenda L. Jones (CLJ) Scholarship Program was initiated by the Power of Pink! Foundation, Inc. in October 2012. The purpose was to develop an educationally-focused initiative that epitomized the life of Ms. Chaenda L. Jones, mother of two children and hard worker, who lost her battle to breast cancer in 2011. The CLJ Scholarship Program was started to foster a positive mind-set that encourages students affected by breast cancer to embody a lifestyle of excellence. 2014 BOOK SCHOLARSHIP: One $500 scholarship that must be applied to book fees will be awarded to a student who is enrolled in a graduate or undergraduate degree program for the academic year commencing Fall of 2014 or Spring of 2015.
