Baltimore Residents Free Breast Cancer Screenings Every Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. UniversityCare at Edmondson Village, 4538 Edmondson Avenue UniversityCare at Waxter Center, 1000 Cathedral Street Two UniversityCare family health centers in West Baltimore are offering free breast cancer screening as part of the Baltimore City Cancer Program, an early-detection effort for uninsured, low-income city residents. UniversityCare officials urge eligible women to take advantage of the free clinical breast exams and mammograms. The free screenings are available every Monday through Friday/ The University of Maryland Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Cancer Center at the University of Maryland Medical Center also offers free mammograms, breast exams and pap tests to women who reside in Baltimore City, who are 40 years of age and older and have no health insurance. To enroll in the Baltimore City Cancer Program, city residents can call 410-328-4673 (HOPE).
